SCVNGR raised $15M; FitOrbit $3.2M; Dachis Group $42.7M; Ziff Davis bought LogicBuy

Ziff Davis has bought coupon site LogicBuy. The company is also launching an ad-targeting platform called BuyerBase.

USA Today has bought Reviewed.com. Reviewed.com is a group of 12 consumer electronics review sites.  Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Dell is going to aquire SecureWorks, a provider of information security services. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Nintendo announced that the Nintendo DS portable video game consoles have sold more than 47 million units in the United States since the original model launched in November 2004. The Nintendo The Wii checks in a little lower at 34 million sales in the United States.

SCVNGR, a location based game, raised $15 million. The round was led by a European VC firm, Balderton Capital. Other participants include Google Ventures and Highland Capital Partners.

FitOrbit, which gives users the hookup with personal trainers online, has raised $3.2 million in funding. The money will be used to finance further growth.

It turns out, the iPad and Kindle can co-exist. A recent survey showed that 40% of iPad owners also own a Kindle. Another 23% intend to buy one in the next year. The 1000 person survey was conducted by J.P. Morgan.

Over the New Year’s weekend, Facebook had 750 million photos uploaded by users. This is a new Facebook record. The information was released via Twitter by Facebook marketing director Randi Zuckerberg.

Reddit  released its 2010 statistics. The site saw a significant jump in pageviews, from 250 million in January of 2010, to 829 million in December of 2010.

The Dachis Group, a social business consulting company, has raised $42.7 million. This is the majority of the planned $43.9 million round.
