Tonchidot raised $12 million. This is the companies series B funding. Tonchidot, which is based in Japan, received funding from KDDI Corporation, media conglomerate Recruit Co. Ltd., and SPiRE. The company makes augmented reality games.
Two students are charged in the death of a fellow student. The students filmed a student having sex with another man, then posted about it on Twitter and shared the video. The student, who soon after committed suicide, was Tyler Clementi, an 18-year-old freshman at Rutgers University.
