However, there are no tools on the market today that make SDM an easily done and reported action. Suffering most from poor SDM integration is patient engagement. Pathos Health's engagement platform is with the patient from decisions through outcomes. Delivered first in clinic on a tablet, patients are made a complicit part of their health decision making process. Pathos's app lets doctors simply build immersive, 3D personalized patient plans at the point of care. This personalized content is then sent home with the patient on their preferred device. Improved Shared decision making = +engagement, +outcomes and +SDM$.

Patient engagement solutions is a $30B+ market. Focusing on value based care organizations, Pathos is targeting the employer provided healthcare segment of the payer market. Employers are experiencing dramatically increasing costs and 147 million lost days of work annually in the US as a result of medical complications. For the employer healthcare market, Pathos offers both per employe/per month (PEPM) and site license options. For enterprise contracts, Pathos offers site licenses.
