What’s most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?
As an entrepreneur, you always want to move fast. With limited resources, you may not be able to move as fast as you would like.
What’s the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make?
Focus, focus, focus. As an entrepreneur, there are lot of things coming your way. People want to meet with you to invest, partner, or use our platform. Everything sounds great! But you really need to focus on the things that are going to “make” your business. Do things that will take your business to the next level; don’t make emotional decisions.
What are the top three lessons you’ve learned as an entrepreneur?
1. Hire fast, fire fast
2. Figure out what’s working and do more of it; don’t spend time on things that are not working. I think it is common for people to fight the grain and try to improve things that are not working. As an entrepreneur, you have limited resources, so spend more time on the things that are working.
3. Don’t make emotional decisions.
