Mutable: Mutable is a public edge cloud startup. Mutable has raised $1.5 million in seed funding co-led by Lunar Ventures and Fly Ventures. Other backers in the round include Momenta Ventures, Acequia Capital, and Charlie Songhurst. Read more
Heart Health Intelligence: Heart Health Intelligence is reducing the cost of heart failure through seamless in-home monitoring. Heart Health Intelligence has raised $2.2 million in a seed round led by Bemis Manufacturing Company, with additional investments from LaunchNY, RIT Venture Fund, Tech Coast Angels, Excell Partners, and Impact Capital of New York. Addionics: Addionics is developing next-generation rechargeable batteries for electric vehicles and other applications. Addionics has raised $6 million in funding led by Next Gear Ventures. The round includes a $2.5 million grant as part of the European Union’s Horizon2020 innovation competition. Read more
Lingumi: Lingumi is a learning platform for toddlers. Lingumi has raised £4 million led by North Summit Capital, which was joined by earlier backers LocalGlobe, ADV and Entrepreneur First. Read more
ModelOp: ModelOp is an enterprise AI model deployment startup. ModelOp has raised $6 million in Series A funding. Valley Capital Partners led the rounnd, joined by Silicon Valley Data Capital. Read more
AristaMD: AristaMD is an e-consulting platform for medical specialists. AristaMD has raised $18 million in Series B funding. Cigna Ventures and MemorialCare Innovation Fund co-led the round, joined by Avalon Ventures, CU Healthcare Innovation Fund and Stanford Health Care. Read more
Doctor Anywhere: Doctor Anywhere allows users to consult a licensed local doctor through video consultations on its app, then ensures medications are delivered to their doorsteps within hours. Doctor Anywhere has raised $27 million in Series B funding led by Square Peg, EDBI and IHH Healthcare. Read more
Orion Labs: Orion Labs is developing voice-activated communication and automation software for deskless workers. Orion Labs has raised $29 million in Series B funding. Dell Technologies Capital led the round, joined by WRVI Capital and earlier backers Avalon Ventures, Argentum Capital Partners, Allen and Company, and Mathers Associates. Read more
