No. 1 mistake: Letting other people's fears get into their head

Entrepreneurs embrace being at the forefront of change. And, just by being there, they take several risks and make a difference. They choose a path of uncertainty but endure through the difficult moments.

They often live challenging and unstable lives. But as they courageously take steps out of their comfort zone, they'll make numerous mistakes which become valuable lessons for the rest of us. And, it's these creative and innovative daredevels who are making an impact on our world.

Vator's profiles have been specifically designed for innovators to express themselves by sharing their interests, lessons learned, as well as bits and pieces of their unique journey.

Today's entrepreneur is Evan Bailyn, a serial entrepreneur, author, and speaker  who became a millionaire by the age of 25. He is the founder of Cartoon Doll Emporium , a children’s dress-up themed social network that became one of the largest children's websites in the world, reaching 70 million unique visitors in 2009. He is also the founder and CEO of First Page Sage, an SEO and social media company serving Fortune 500, celebrity, and political clients.

He created the Evan Bailyn Foundation in early 2010, offering grants to causes that prevent child abuse.  His Facebook page, which promotes emotional awareness, is one of the most popular non-celebrity pages on Facebook, with over 100,000 fans.

According to Evan’s VEQ, he is good at marketing management, sales execution, and he is a thought leader.

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

The most rewarding part of being an entrepreneur is getting to wear your pajamas to work and take a day off whenever you need it. The most frustrating part is taking 100% of the risk, so when there is a problem, it's completely on you to solve it.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make?

Letting other people's fears get into their head.
