Career Hero founder Reena Jadhav wants to create a social networking site for students that will provide them with everything from advice to salary information to videos that show a typical day in the life of a professional.

Such a "virtual job-shadowing experience," as she calls it, would give aspiring doctors the chance to see what it's like to be a radiologist, for example.

While Career Hero will eventually provide mentoring and career guidance to younger kids, the first version of the site will target high school and college students.

They are the ones often scrambling to choose a college or curriculum without having all the tools and resources they need to make an informed decision.

"We decided to start where the pain is the deepest," Jadhav tells Vator.tv's Bambi Francisco in this interview.
