What’s most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?
I don’t know if frustrating is the right word, but it does present a ton of challenges. Not only to work life but definitely to the personal life and the people around you. However, that is probably the most rewarding thing about it as well. Something that was just an idea becoming something more so you can create an opportunity for people is the biggest reward.

What’s the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make?
They claim to run out of runway. There is always another day and likely if you are focused and adaptive you can create a business if you don’t stop!

What are the top three lessons you’ve learned as an entrepreneur?
1. Communicate with the utmost transparency – with your team and people you meet – their opinion will often clarify things in your head.

2. Keep the people close to you very close, dealing with the stress of entrepreneurship is not healthy to internalize. There are always problems and making sure you’ve created a great and supportive community to help you through those is essential.

3. If you aren’t having fun then there is something wrong.
