Today Bebo, the leading global social media network, announced that it will host the first social networking application for DanceJam. Congrats Hammer and Geoffrey!

Seems a shame that no one has posted a comment so I say that I think the business proposition seems quite compelling. Dance is a strong attractor of lots of people and of course the young and as you point out it's among the top videos on youtube. I think providing the taxonomy of various dance styles allows people a lot of freedom to post in the area of their interest. The social hook potential is tremendous, from supporting social causes (dance-athons to raise funds for causes), to 'getting discovered', and tie-ins to other social networks. Lots of advertising and visibility potential as well such as tie-ins with dance schools and bringing on celebritys. Then there is the potential of bringing in new music (music and dance competition combo). I also like the technology hooks such as the 'turtle' (who would think that we would actually want things to run slower!) and rating specific moves. Overall, a very interesting idea.
My suggestions would be to get your website up and running. It didn't show the features that you demo'd on vator (at the time I saw it).
    Cheers,
    Gary
