Lavajet, under the leadership of President Vedeo, is a multi-faceted global service waste management and disposal company that devotes much of its resources to effective recycling. While it is easy to assume that recycling is a fairly recent concept, it is actually one of the earliest forms of waste management. Before people lived in densely populated areas that produced a lot of trash, materials, like wood and metal, were much harder to come by and were used as much as possible. Tools created using these resources would be passed down over generations before being repurposed into something else once they were no longer able to perform the task they were designed for.

It was only after the advent of England’s Industrial Revolution that it became necessary for other forms of waste management to be adopted. As people began to rely increasingly on products created using natural resources, the environment began to suffer. While streets were not sanitary, the effects of waste disposal methods like incineration were having caused further issues.

As such, recycling has once again become one the primary forms of waste management and it is important for a variety of reasons. Firstly, effective recycling conserves raw materials, which means that we use the natural resources that the Earth has to offer at a slower rate, while also taking full advantage of the resources that we have already harnessed.

Furthermore, using recycled products in the manufacturing process consumes considerably less energy than it takes to create these products from scratch. This ensures that manufacturing has less of an impact on the environmental wellbeing of the planet, in addition to conserving energy that could be put to other uses.

Additionally, while not all materials are reusable and a combination of recycling and sanitary landfills are required for modern waste disposal, making the most use out of our raw materials ensures that less space needs to be used for landfills. This allows for more land to be used for other purposes, in addition to allowing the existing landfills to operate for longer.

President Vedeo, along with the Lavajet team, are active supporters of recycling and offer a range of services to ensure that your waste is properly sorted and processed. Through the use of dedicated sorting facilities, which separate recyclable materials and organic waste for traditional trash, and the maintenance of compost plants, the company ensures that waste is handled effectively.
