Centro.net raised $22.5; Skytap $10M; Image Space Media $1M, Groupon $500M, NASA and HP ink deal

Skytap, a provider of cloud-automation solutions for enterprise, raised $10 million. Investors in the company include Ignition Partners, OpenView Venture Partners, Madrona Venture Group and Washington Research Foundation.

Centro.net, a Chicago-based digital media buying company, has just raised $22.5 million. This round is equity-only funding.

Canada is the most Web-addicted nation, according to research by comScore.  Another interesting fact, 17 million Canadians, or 51% of the population, have Facebook accounts.


Image Space Media, which recently released an image monetization tool, raised $1 million in new funding. Image Space Media is based in New York City.

Groupon has raised $500 million in equity financing. Investors have not been disclosed.

 

Online holiday spending hit a record high of $30.81 billion, according to a report released by comScore.

 

NASA signed a 10-year contract with Hewlett-Packard. The contract will include computer networks, hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
