Myspace gets a makeover. The new version of the site will offer an updated user interface. It will also have only seven profile styles to start with.

Apple opened a version of its online store geared towards China. The store offers most Apple products and free shipping.

Rumors abound about a Playstation phone. If the rumors are true it will be an Android 3.0 based phone. No specific date is reported for official announcement.

KingsIsle Entertainment is set to launch a new in-game world today. The expansion is for users who currently participate in the Wizard 101 game. There will also e a $39 gift card, which will launch on Nov. 1. The card will be available in GameStop stores.

Yahoo is upgrading its mail service today. In addition to visual changes, the upgrade is expected to have better spam protection and integration with social networks such as Twitter and Facebook.

TxVia  raised $27.5 million. The was the company's fourth round of funding. The round was led by Oak Investment Partners. The company is a payemnt processor for prepaid and emerging payments.

BirchBox raised $1.4 million. The was the company's seed round of funding. The round was led by First Round Capital and Accel Partners. Birchbox is a subscription site that allows user to try cosmertics samples and get advice.

Nasza Klasa is rumored to be for sale, for roughly €130 million. The site is a the Polish social networking platform.

Spotlight Ticket Management raised $2.5 million. This was the Series A round of funding. The round was led by Point Judith Capital. The company helps business manage, track, and report on the use of tickets,for special events.
