Team
Jay Mandal is the CEO and Co-Founder of Law Pivot. Prior to Law Pivot, Jay was the lead mergers and acquisitions lawyer and a commercial law team member at Apple Inc. He has over nine years of experience as a corporate lawyer, including experience at the law firms of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, and Nishith Desai Associates. He was also a founding team member at IPpro, a patent outsourcing company. Jay holds a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in Economics with Honors from Stanford University, and was a U.S. Fulbright Scholar to India.
Nitin Gupta is the Vice President of Business Development and Co-Founder of Law Pivot. He was previously an intellectual property litigation lawyer at Townsend & Townsend & Crew, a top national intellectual property law firm, and worked at Applied Materials. Nitin holds a J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Davis.
Steven Kam is the Vice President of Engineering of Law Pivot. Prior to Law Pivot, Steven worked at Silicon Valley startups as a software engineer and architect, and as an intellectual property litigation lawyer at Townsend & Townsend & Crew. Steven holds a J.D. and a double B.A. in Computer Science and Economics with Highest Distinction from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford.
