Jack is a founder and CEO of Baynote, Inc. For eight years, he was SVP & CTO of Interwoven Inc. (Nasdaq: IWOV) with executive responsibilities in engineering, products, marketing, strategy and vision. Prior to Interwoven, he was a founder and CEO of V-max America. Jack led operating systems and applications development at SGI, Sun Microsystems, Stratus and NASA for over a decade. He is a frequent speaker at major conferences and has appeared on television programs in several countries. He is a contributing author in "XML Handbook, the 4th Edition", "Online! The Book", "Content Management Bible", and writes regularly about key technology issues and trends. He is a board advisor for Santa Clara University, and the president of HYSTA, a premier non-profit organization for promoting entrepreneurship.
Scott Brave, Ph.D
Chief Technology Officer
Scott is a founder and CTO of Baynote, Inc. Prior to Baynote, he was a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University and served as lab manager for the CHIMe (Communication between Humans and Interactive Media) Lab. Scott is an inventor of six patents and co-author of over 25 publications in the areas of human-computer interaction and artificial intelligence. Scott is also an Editor of the "International Journal of Human-Computer Studies" (Amsterdam: Elsevier) and co-author of "Wired for speech: How voice activates and advances the human-computer relationship" (Cambridge, MA: MIT Press). Scott received his Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction, and B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering from Stanford University, and his Master's from the MIT Media Lab.
Vice President of Engineering
Aravind has 20 years of broad experience in the software and web technology development, having held executive and management positions in companies such as Corio, Interwoven, Oracle and Lucent. In Corio, as a senior member of Engineering, Aravind managed the scalability and automation of Corio Operations. At Interwoven as vice president of engineering, Aravind ran the web content management division, leading the Interwoven flagship product TeamSite. At Oracle, Aravind was one of the key persons that developed the first version of the Enterprise Manager. Aravind holds a Bachelor's degree from BITS, Pilani, India.
Director of Marketing & Product Management
Mike has been taking Internet technologies to market for more than a decade. Prior to Baynote, he was at Interwoven where he set the product direction and marketing strategy for initiatives related to search, portal, and web content management, and drove business development activities with partners in support Interwoven's global customer base. He has held various leadership positions in marketing, product management, and application development at Cisco, Dell, and ExxonMobil. He is an accomplished speaker and has published industry articles related to internet technologies including search and content management. Mike holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley, and a BBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, Austin.
Vice President of Customers
Bill is enthusiastically customer focused, bringing over 10 years experience of implementing, delivering and supporting the full software lifecycle, both in the US and Europe. Most recently, Bill was VP of Marketing and Sales at Nahava Inc., enabling success for customers like FedEx, TD Bank and Kaiser Permanente. For over 5 years, Bill held various senior positions at Interwoven for consulting, services and product management. Prior, Bill served in various leadership roles creating and delivering web based solutions. Bill is a military veteran who was one of four hand-selected US Marines to directly serve the President of the United States. Bill studied architecture at the University of Arkansas and holds top-secret and PRP clearances.
Vice President of Strategic Markets and Business Development
Andrew joins Baynote with over 16 years of sales and sales management experience. Most recently he was the Vice President of Sales at Ketera Technologies. Prior to that, he started and built the national field sales organization for NetSuite. As a key part of the sales management team, he helped grow NetSuite from $9 million a year to $45 million a year in revenue. He brings Baynote a tremendous amount of experience for both building and running both direct sales and channel sales organizations. Earlier, Andrew spent a number of years in different sales and sales management roles at Oracle, Siebel and Trilogy. He received his BA in Social Science from UC Berkeley, and has his MBA from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.

Mark brings over 17 years of direct sales, channel sales and sales operations experience within the high tech industry to Baynote. Mark is responsible for the overall leadership of Baynote's worldwide direct sales organization and global sales operations. Prior to joining Baynote, Mark was Vice President of Business Operations at SAP GRC, Inc. Prior to SAP, Mark was Vice President of Sales Operations at Virsa Systems where he was instrumental in driving and managing the worldwide sales growth which resulted in a highly successful acquisition of Virsa Systems by SAP. Mark was Senior Director, Sales Operations at diCarta, Inc. (acquired by Emptoris) and the Director, Worldwide Corporate Sales at Interwoven, Inc. While at Interwoven, Mark played an integral part in the company's rapid sales growth, responsible for building the worldwide Inside Sales organization into a global inside sales team supporting all enterprise, corporate, partner and customer sales channels. In addition, Mark has held either sales management or sales positions at NetManage, MSC Technologies, Merisel, and MacAmerica.
As a hosted application, Baynote can be added to any business Website, and it is priced on both a subscription and risk-free, revenue-sharing model. Under the subscription model, customers pay a monthly fee, which varies on the number of users and Web pages.
Under the pay-for-performance model, customers pay a percentage of net revenue lift. Baynote’s built-in concurrent A/B measurement accurately reports in real-time the net e-commerce and ad revenue lift generated by the Invisible Crowds.
