Management Bio

Hilmi Ozguc (CEO):
A broadband video visionary, digital media pioneer and senior executive with several of the world's leading global technology companies, Hilmi Ozguc founded Maven Networks in 2002 with the goal of revolutionizing the broadband video experience and reinventing TV as an interactive, immersive and virally engaging medium delivered over the Internet.
Today, Maven Networks is recognized as an Internet TV leader, enabling major media companies to leverage the skyrocketing consumer demand for online video and tap into powerful new sources of revenue from Internet video advertising and syndication.
Among Maven's customers are CBC, CBS, CNET, Financial Times, Fox News, Gannett, Hearst, Scripps Networks, Sony BMG and TV Guide. Prior to launching Maven, Hilmi co-founded and was CEO of Narrative Communications, which pioneered the rich media online advertising market with its flagship Enliven service. In less than four years, he took Narrative from a streaming media startup with $13 million in venture financing to a $100 million acquisition by @Home Network in 1999. Under his leadership, Narrative counted the world's leading advertisers and agencies among its customers, captured 70% market share in its category and gave rise to today's multibillion-dollar rich media advertising market.
