  • CLEAR, the secure identity company, partnered with Tampa General Hospital to integrate the CLEAR identity platform for businesses and healthcare organizations into TGH’s identity access management platform, PingOne DaVinci; the company also partnered with Hackensack Meridian Health, which will leverage CLEAR1, via its integration with Epic, to enable MyChart Account Creation and Password Reset, allowing patients to verify their identity with a selfie
  • iCode, a computer science education provider, partnered with Codie Blocks to bring hands-on coding to children as young as three years old. Based on the PBS member station TV show Mia & Codie, the program is designed to teach kids how to code before they can even read or write, using colorful, emoji-based coding blocks that encourage creative thinking and problem-solving.   • Kriya Therapeutics, a clinical-stage gene therapy company focused on developing novel therapies for prevalent diseases, raised a $313 million Series C financing round from ARCH Venture Partners, Versant Ventures, and Lilly Asia Ventures
  • Eight Sleep, a company combining technology, physiology, and data to unlock deeper sleep and better health, raised $100 million from HSG, Valor Equity Partners, Atreides, Founders Fund, Y Combinator, and notable sports figures, including Charles Leclerc and Zak Brown 
  • restor3d, a provider of technology-driven personalized orthopedic solutions, raised $104 million, including $65 million of new equity from Partners Group and $39 million from existing shareholders
  • Anocca, a clinical-stage T-cell immunotherapy company, raised $46 million in a round led by Mellby Gård with support from AMF, Ramsbury and existing shareholders, alongside new investors
  • Medallion, a provider of AI-powered provider network infrastructure, raised $43 million in a round led  by Acrew Capital, with participation from Washington Harbour Partners and insiders, including Sequoia Capital, GV, Spark Capital, NFDG, and others
  • Iantrek, a provider of bio-interventional ophthalmic surgery, raised a $42 million Series C financing round led by U.S. Venture Partners and joined by aMoon Fund, along with existing investors Visionary Ventures, Sectoral Asset Management, Radius Special Situations Fund, and Civilization Ventures

  • Luna Health, a medical device company developing insulin delivery for insulin pen users, raised $23.6 million in a Series A round led by Vensana Capital, with participation from the Swiss Diabetes Venture Fund, Ascensia Diabetes Care, Winklevoss Capital, and other investors 
  • Wisdom, an AI-powered dental revenue cycle management platform, raised a $21 million Series A round led by Permanent Capital Ventures, as well as Aquiline, and Juxtapose
  • Method AI, a medical technology company focused on improving oncology outcomes through image-guided surgical navigation, raised $20 million in a Series A round led by a private family office with participation from Cleveland Clinic and JobsOhio Growth Capital Fund
  • Develop Health, an EHR-integrated benefits‑verification and prior‑authorization platform, raised a $14.3 million Series A led by Wing Venture Capital, with participation from Afore Capital, J Ventures, and South Park Commons
  • Belhaven Biopharma, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company advancing innovative dry powder nasal drug delivery solutions, raised $10 million from both new and existing investors

  • Cascala Health, a company delivering a clinically responsible AI intelligence layer for care teams and post-acute care operators, raised an $8.6 million seed financing round co‑led by Flare Capital Partners and Eniac Ventures, with additional backing from Omega Healthcare Investors, Ziegler Link-age Fund, Tau Ventures, and Digital Health Venture Partners

Going public

  • Monkey Tree Investment, which operates English learning centers for children in Hong Kong, filed with the SEC to raise up to $7 million in an initial public offering

Policy and government

  • The Supreme Court is allowing the Trump administration to cut off health research grants it contends advance diversity, equity and inclusion efforts or promote “gender ideology extremism.” By a 5-4 vote, the justices lifted an order a federal court judge in Boston issued forcing the National Institutes of Health to restore funding for more than 1,700 grants focused on heart disease, HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer’s disease, alcohol and substance abuse and mental health issues
  • The Trump administration rescinded federal guidance requiring schools to provide a broad range of services to students who are not proficient in English. Those services include language acquisition classes, supports for disabilities and access to grade-level curriculum materials. The guidance was issued in 2015 under President Barack Obama. At that time, the Education and Justice Departments told school districts that failing to provide such services would violate Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, which seeks to prevent discrimination based on race and national origin

  • Fewer Americans say they’re drinking alcohol these days: according to Gallup, only 54% report they consume alcoholic beverages, the lowest percentage in nearly 90 years of polls that track alcohol consumption across the country. The record low of 54% in 2025 compares with the all-time high, 71%, reported from 1976 to 1978. Gallup says the results coincide with research that shows any level of alcohol consumption can be bad for your health. Even low levels of drinking can lead to certain cancers and heart problems, according to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism
