Tanja is an innovative scientist with in-depth knowledge of numerous molecular, cellular, immunological, and virology techniques. Her PhD thesis work was supported by a Schering Foundation fellowship and conducted at the UCSF Cancer Center. Subsequently, Tanja joined Professor Frank McCormick’s lab where she worked on a novel gene therapeutic approach for the treatment of cancer. After her Postdoc, she helped build a biotech start-up and lead its R&D efforts until a successful M&A. Moreover, she consulted for several biotech start-ups in terms of both strategic product development and R&D.
