Playing it safe.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

- Ship it fast and iterate as you go.
- Don't just listen to your users, care about them.
- On your best day, you're never as good as you think you are and on your worst day, you're never as bad as you think you are. In other words, stay humble and motivated.

Steven Sacks is a serial entrepreneur, DJ, musician, and front-end development with a penchant for user experience, usability and workflow. Since the dawn of the internet, Steven has been involved in both the online and desktop application industries.

Steven is the founder and CEO of Plug DJ, an international music community application which has grown to over 1,000,000 registered users and over 700,000 MAUs worldwide in one year.

Prior to Plug DJ, Steven was the CTO and co-founder of JamCloud, an "iTunes For YouTube" desktop player.

Steven has developed numerous award-winning applications, games and websites for high-profile companies including GE, Adobe, Callaway, DirecTV, The Weather Channel, Fox Sports, Earthlink, Honda, Anheuser-Busch, Coca-Cola and Home Depot.

Steven is the author of the Gaia Framework for Adobe Flash, a revolutionary open-source framework that dramatically reduces development time when building Flash websites. After its release in June 2007, Gaia quickly became the most popular front-end Flash framework in the industry, has been universally praised by the Flash industry's top experts, and was adopted worldwide by top digital agencies including Avenue A / Razorfish London, Tequila/Chiat-Day, and 2Advanced.

Steven also is an accomplished DJ and musician, having played in multiple countries and music festivals around the world.
