Steve Lee

I'm a designer, engineer, and builder, and I co-founded Aura with my brother to solve the one of the most important yet unmet need humans are facing today - mental health & wellbeing. I am a former bioengineer from UC Berkeley/UCSF and an entrepreneur with a personal mission of improving population mental health through changing consumer behavior. Prior to founding Aura, I studied various forces influencing human health - cellular and biological systems, healthcare systems, community environments, and human behavior. I spent numerous hours in labs and hospitals, co-founded two health-focused non-profit organizations, and led product at VC-backed startups. I have now devoted the rest of my life to creating software that improves human health at scale.
