Experienced executive with extensive background in financial management, corporate partnerships, private equity and investment banking. Over the course of nearly 17 years at Qualcomm Richard established partnerships and made investments totaling more than $2 billion across five continents; provided growth capital to mature companies; started companies by identifying leaders who would effectively build & lead teams. Investments ranged from $1 million to $1 billion; from London to Indonesia to Brasil. As Qualcomm’s representative on more than 10 Boards provided strategic advice and management guidance. He enjoys broad industry scope that extends across mobility, connected health devices & services and business intelligence Richard is now working with start-up and early stage executives to build effective teams, map out the right strategy to conquer markets and to help to efficiently raise the capital necessary to succeed. He brings superior analytical and leadership skills to support growing businesses. As an angel investor Richard understands what a company must do well to succeed. He specializes in financial management, market strategy, capital structuring and fund raising; brings to bear an expansive background that encompasses start-ups through the very largest companies to surmount challenges at any stage of a company’s development. An extensive rolodex helps to make the connections that every company needs to be successful. Prior to Qualcomm Richard spent 10 years in investment banking in NY and LA with Barclays and BNP Paribas.
