I'm among CLUSIT founders, and a Board of Directors member since year 2000, having being re-elected every 2 years until today.
Update: I've decided to not candidate myself for 2015-2016.
I'm also a member of the Technical-Scientific Committee. CLUSIT yearly organizes the Italian "Security Summit" (www.securitysummit.it), held in Milan on March and in Rome on June. The event is totally free-to-attend, does not allow commercial pitches and delivers parallel tracks, with vendor-neutral talks, roundtables and Key Notes from abroad, such as Steve Santorelli, Gadi Evron and Piotr Oleszkiewicz (2009) and Mark Abene (Phiber Optik), Sharon Conheady and Pascal Lointier (2010).
The Italian Security Summit includes as well a "relax-time", the Hacking Film Festival: 3 movies played after dinner-time, related to information security, hacking and privacy.
