Who is Makell Bird?
Makell Bird, aka The Mixtape King of Las Vegas, is a man who was born and raised in what is to be considered the ghettos of the SouthEastern Metro Atlanta area. His mentality and music are the result of his life experiences in the "Dirty South" Hip-Hop culture. His affinity for "Sin City" led him to pursue a better life in Las Vegas, where he has been residing since July 8, 2004.

Makell Bird is an all around entertainment entreprenuer. Born and raised in the Dirty South musical culture of metro Atlanta, he now resides in Sin City, where he has already established himself as "The Mixtape King of Las Vegas". Containing a myriad of accomplishments since his musical debut in 2000, Makell Bird's track record as an independent label owner is something worth talking about. He has been featured in a variety of publications such as Las Vegas Weekly Magazine, Ozone Magazine (twice), and the cover of The Henry Herald Newspaper. Physical print aside, he's also built a mammoth fanbase on the internet including being featured by imeem.com, defsounds.com, datpiff.com, popgoesthemusic.dada.net, whatsdamove.net, hiphopmagnet.com, doggfather.ru, gratox.com, mixtape-masters.com, kingd855.blogspot.com, hear-it-first.net, gossipmatrix.com, gossipthug.com, etc. From his world famous Maktown Mixtapes to his astounding 4 million plays on myspace, he is leaving no stone unturned. What is A.D.E.?
A.D.E. is an abbreviation for Angelic Destroyer Entertainment. In the summer of 2000, I set out to create a label with a strong message behind it. I remembered the passages of The Bible, specifically dealing with the fall of Sodom and Gomorrah. Basically, the people of those cities were so evil that GOD sent 2 angels to destroy them. Although they were angels, their mission was to destroy, hence Angelic Destroyer. Plus, they had the power of GOD behind them and, to me, that was a pretty powerful thing! (link).
I wanted A.D.E. to be not only a record label, but a full circle entertainment company. I have always dreamed of expansion and wished to cover all grounds of entertainment whether it be music, film, writing, animation, etc.. As of the summer of 2008, A.D.E. has also become a digital distribution company with the ability to make product available in over 10 digital retail stores including itunes, amazonmp3, emusic, napster, rhapsody, zune, and more! A.D.E.'s current roster of artists include Makell Bird, Natika, DJ Taz, and Nitemare.
Side note: The funniest question I've heard asked about A.D.E. is, "Isn't that demonic?". To those who think the word Angelic Destroyer is demonic: My only advice to you is to re-take English class! If you passed English, you'd know that in the term Angelic Destroyer, Angelic is a descriptive word. It describes the nature of the Destroyer. Hence, the Destroyer is Angelic!
