Full bio
I am the first son of immigrant parents; our family moved to the US when I was six years old. At a young age I learned to be flexible and able to adapt to different environments, picking up English as a second language. My early experiences motivated me to be a leader among my peers. I gained my core leadership skills by attaining my Eagle Scout and serving as president of my Boy Scout troop. Attending the University of Memphis has furthered my leadership experience. On campus I have been involved with the Student Government Association (SGA), Memphis Institute for Leadership Education (MILE), Sigma Alpha Epsilon (ΣΑΕ) Fraternity, and the Interfraternity Council (IFC). I have served as philanthropy chair, alumni relations, Executive Warden, and President of ΣΑΕ; been elected twice to SGA; elected as Executive Vice President and Vice President of Public Relations for IFC; and graduated from MILE. During the summer of 2014 I used my ΣΑΕ alumni connections to get an internship in healthcare finance with Healthcare Contract Services, LLC. I am highly self-motivated and detail oriented. I understand that one must surround him or herself with the right people to succeed and be able to efficiently motivate them towards a common goal.
