What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

The "no"s. Getting people to say no to you is hard, esp. on the receiving end. But it's all worth it when you prove the naysayers wrong. :)

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make?

Not being too flexible. Some entrepreneurs are not able to change their ideas and meld them to the marketplace and current/future trends. Being able to be flexible is key.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1. Don't give up.
2. Follow your passion.
3. It's tough, but keep at it.

Full bio

As a young boy, my first foray into entrepreneurship was wanting to see one of the first Batman movies which had just come out.  I was determined to go see it and to make the money to buy my ticket and a ticket for my mom and dad.

To do this, I had a car vac and a next door neighbor and a drive to succeed in my goal.  I vacuumed the inside of smelly cars, shined the instruments and dash in cars while my neighbor washed the windows and wheels.  We worked hard on every car we cleaned (I think we only asked for $1, which may have been too low), but many of our customers insisted and gave us much more.

From then, I knew entrepreneurship was in my blood.  I completed my Engineering degree at UT-Austin, completed my MBA at the Darden School of Business, and am focused on making my mark in the business world, notably in electronic commerce.
