Full bio

Juan Carlos received his BA from Harvard University and was later at Stanford pursuing intensive studies in Computer Science and Statistics. While at university he was one of the co-founders of Vostu, leading their first marketing campaign in Latin America. Before starting up Boxagon, Juan Carlos worked at Sotheby's and founded Newertown, a creative arts consultancy firm that helped emerging artists and arts startups engage audiences through digital media. He is currently a director of mimanzana, one of the leading digital marketing agencies in Peru. Juan Carlos is also a MongoDB evangelist. He is co-organiser of the MongoDB User Group in Lima, Peru and is a teaching assistant for MongoDB University's online course M101P: MongoDB for Developers.
