Joel Holmberg

IT professional and founder of Haja Applikation AB. I've been working with innovation and open data applications during my last years as an IT consultant. I love simplifying the lives of people using IT and I'm really excited about the process of innovation, making great idéas come alive and grow into a product or service that makes the world a little bit better. As a winner of several innovation contests I have been developing mobile apps from pen and paper mockups to complete products using a wide variety of skillsets, most recently involving Open Government Data to produce products for users with very different needs. I believe my greatest achievement so far is the making of 'ResLedaren'​, an app for iOS and Android that helps users with cognitive disabilities to travel using public transportation in Sweden. This was also one of my most rewarding projects as it allowed me to be involved in the entire process, from paper mockups and design desitions, to programming, creating cool algorithms and taking the roll of SCRUM master. In my spare time, I'm a jazz drummer, spending my vacations performing and jamming with friends.
