Huixi (Violet) Zhang

Huixi Violet Zhang is currently a 4th year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests lie in computational chemistry with a focus on understanding and designing biomolecular self-assembly hybrids that could be applied to biomedical devices and energy harvesting in solar cells. She is generally interested in making innovations using computational tools to advance human society. She also has an entrepreneur bug for high-tech start-ups. During her free time, she enjoys food, reading books, watching movies and ballroom dancing.
