Hank Torbert

Mr. Torbert has spent the last 20 years in the private equity and corporate finance world. His deal activity has ranged from early stage media / technology companies to billion dollar telecommunications, oil & gas, transportation and financial services companies. His vast experience within private equity markets has enabled him to form many relationships and has been an active board member, advisor, and investor for many privately held middle market companies over the years. Mr. Torbert has deep industry experience in the technology, media, telecommunications, oil & gas, alternative energy and transportation sectors. Moreover, strong industry and government contacts for business development, operational expansion and financing. As it relates, the transportation, energy and telecommunications sectors, Mr. Torbert has strong relationships with Department of Energy, Department of Transportation and Department of Defense and other Federal government entities. In addition, as a board member, he has played a key role in the launch and expansion of numerous businesses - notably of two publicly traded companies. For example, as a founding Director and investor, Mr. Torbert played an integral role in the launch, strategic direction and IPO of Mood Media, (fka Fluid Music Canada) (TSX: MM), an internet-based music services company. The company is currently valued at $400MM. As Director of Consonus Technologies, Mr. Torbert led the special committee that executed its restructuring an its subsequent merger with Midas Medici Group Holdings (OTCBB: MMED).
