Guy is the Managing Director of Wave Digital – a design led, but tech-focused web and mobile app development agency that has successfully delivered custom software to government, corporates and start-ups for the past 17 years. Wave is the perfect vehicle for Guy to combine his technical expertise, commercial acumen and passion for creating better lives through innovative technology, particularly in Digital Health. Guy moved into the tech industry as Chief Financial Officer at the SitePoint Group, the company behind four of Australia’s most successful web start-ups including 99designs.com. Under his financial oversight, 99designs grew from a team of 5 to over 100, culminating in a $35m financing round from Accel Partners. Since taking over Wave Digital in July 2013, Guy has tripled the client base, expanded its existing design capability, while reviewing and enhancing all aspects of the customer experience. Wave has built custom web and mobile apps for such clients as VicRoads, Specsavers, Australian Nursing & Midwifery Federation (ANMF), PeterMac, eHealth NSW, Healthily, South East Water and AMP.
