If you're an entrepreneur or corporate innovator, why?

I want to change the world.

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

The process of innovation can be frustrating as it takes some trial and error to get things built right. With innovation comes failures -- but these failures lead you to success as long as you recognize the issue and pivot quickly. Successful innovators learn how to quickly pivot and scratch weeks of work when needed. Nothing is more glorious and joyful then the high days when you you successfully build things right. The feeling of creating innovation from nothing to something great is beyond rewarding.

Entrepreneurship is frustrating because of the lack of stability, especially in the early days of building a company. There are days were you are full of joy and excitement, and then there are low days where your back is to the wall with no money to pay the bills and employees. Most people can't handle the emotional rollercoaster that comes with entrepreneurship. For others, the rollercoaster is the course of motivation to reach success.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

I think the biggest mistake an entrepreneur can make is have tunnel vision with their product and business model. Pivoting when needed can make or break your company. It can be as big as pivoting your whole vision or small pivots within the user experience design and product roadmap. Pivots are especially necessary when creating new user experiences as user feedback is essential to creating great products.
