Fred Tzeng, received his B.S., M.S., and is currently pursuing the Ph.D., all in electrical engineering at UC Irvine. He has over 10 conference and journal publications and 3 pending patents in the field of integrated circuits, and has received several academic, industry, and design contest awards. His Ph.D. research focus is on low power multi-channel integrated circuits which finds uses in biomedical and wireless applications. He is also the co-founder of ZeroWatt Technologies, a fab-less semiconductor company delivering extremely low power multi-channel integrated circuits. Mr. Tzeng is this year's Arnold O. Beckman Memorial Scholar of the ARCS Foundation, Inc.
