Founded Bred Ventures Inc. in 2015 with business partner and Gold Medal Olympian Bryan Clay. Bred Ventures Inc. seeks to create value by crafting unique product solutions that leverage leading edge technology to inspire and motivate active and healthy living.

Ed spent 15-years as part of the senior leadership team at DreamWorks Animation where he played an essential role in the studio's growth into a premiere family entertainment company. Ed joined DreamWorks prior to their first film release and led the company as their CTO through growth, IPO and a market cap exceeding $2B. 

Ed also served as President of DreamWorks Animation Investments Inc. where he was focused on new business opportunities and growth for DreamWorks Animation. In 2012, Ed served as co-founder and CEO of Ptch, a social media startup company incubated and backed by DreamWorks Animation. Ptch was acquired by Yahoo in 2013.

In his nearly twenty-year entertainment industry experience, Ed has made material contribution to twenty-one of the top fifty animated films of all time. Fast Company has recognized Ed as #23 on the list of “100 Most Creative People” and #5 on the list of “10 Most Creative People in Movies and Television”. He holds degrees in Computer Science/Math and has served on the advisory boards for several startups as well as industry leading technology companies.
