I love delighting people and this is the role of a business IMO
Frustrating: You constantly analyze your effectiveness under a microscope and you often don't like what you see.
Rewarding: Watching a smile shoot across a customer's face when they use your product.
They fail to prioritize their customer first.
1. Test Fast - Build fast, ship fast, get in front of your customer, repeat.
2. Prioritize - Realistically you can only do 1-3 things well. Know what they are, and do them well
3. Be Positive - People like positive people. You're also committing to donating at least 7 years of your life to build your company, make sure you love your life while doing it or it won't turn out well.
David was born and raised in Calgary Canada and attended the Haas School of business in conjunction with studying Computer Science at UC Berkeley as an international student.
He was a member of Team Canada in the sport of badminton, a sponsored athlete at age 9 and a Pan-American Games gold medalist. David ran an igloo building business through elementary school (no joke) and a racquet stringing business through his years in competitive badminton.
David graduated from UC Berkeley’s Haas school of Business, first in his class.
David leads strategic partnerships, customer development, fundraising and supports Richard in product development.
David and his co-founders have been working together for the better part of 3 years after meeting in a mobile application development class and competition. Their past projects include building a 3D printing Vending Machine called "Dreambox."
