I believe it to be time to put another face on Tech and entrepreneurship. I am neither white nor gay nor older than Moses. But don't tell me that the only ones with great Tech ideas have to look like Larry Page or that Facebook guy. I look much better than both of them. This is just one nice bloke with good ideas trying to make this month's rent. Quote_down

I am a(n):

Entrepreneur

Companies I've founded or co-founded:
theDKWT, DKW Technologies, 902 Publishing, Friends for Families, {s}hareCLOUD
If you're an entrepreneur or corporate innovator, why?

I am too ecentric to not be an entrepreneur.

My favorite startups:

Google,Red Hat, Missy's lemonade stand in Paramus, NJ

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

For me the frustration comes from seeing the dumbest idea in the world make millions while the best ideas die from lack of exposure. The most rewarding thing is being able to see an idea inspire others to come up with even better ideas.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

Keep their great ideas too secret for too long.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1. When someone says it will not work, find out the motivation behind their stance.
2. Work only with people who either get your idea or just plain believe in you.
3. Money loves no one and only foolish men love something that will never love them back.

Daniel Ketter - President|Founder  at DKWTechnik
was born an Entrepreneur (some say he charged admission to his own birth). He started his first business at age 14. At age 16 he co-founded a record label UHM records. At age 19 he helped create Friends for Families a mental health respite care company. More recently he founded DKW Technologies which was sold to later create DKWTechnik.

Mr Ketter is also deeply committed to being a volunteer. He continues to dedicate at least 840 hours per year to help others better their lives. While living in the Dominican Republic he has made it a priority to assist those most affected by poverty, family and global issues.

Daniel has helped countless companies streamline, expand and future proof their IT Departments. It was out of this expertise that he created Techshare (the perfect IT Department management software). Daniel's goal is to create "the World's IT Department" and manage it all using Techshare. Imagine our Global Tech4orce of Super Engineers ready to take on any IT challenge anywhere in the world. IT may sound like a fantasy but actually it's the future. Let the "Tech Support Revolution" begin!
