Career Summary:

Mr. Riley is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, MA A&S, BS 1991. He began his broadcasting career while in school working for NBC Sports on “NFL LIve”, Breeders Cup Horse Racing, NBA Basketball, and the Orange Bowl. Also while in school he worked for NESN in Boston as a Stage Manager and Associate Director on college hockey (Hockey East) and basketball. Upon graduating he went to work for CBS Sports for the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville France as a BA at the Ice Hockey Venue. In the spring of 1993 he worked at the NHL in the Broadcasting Division to help with coordination with the playoffs, Stanley Cup Finals and the 1993 Entry Draft. From there he moved on to SportsChannel New York and was the Associate Director for Devils Hockey and Nets Basketball. In 1998 he went to Nagano Japan for CBS Sports to cover men’s and women’s ice hockey. For 1999 he worked on Wall Street as an analyst in government operations at Bear Stearns. In 2000 he went to work for Jag FN a financial internet website as a producer and director of “live” financial news streamed over the internet. In 2001 he formed his own production company, “Five-Hole Productions” in which he oversaw the production of the 29th annual police/firemen hockey game which aired nationally over Fox Sports Net. In 2002 he formed “River Edge Productions” with Harry Poulos, Ray Murphy, which is currently producing different pilots for television sale. Along with “River Edge Productions” in 2003/2004 he was a production manager in the Broadcast Operations division at NBA TV in Secaucus, New Jersey. From 2005-2007 he worked on the technical operations side for the IMUS in the Morning program. Also, in the summer of 2006 he Produced a pilot for the Sportsman Channel which he created called, “Catch, Cook and Dine”, which aired in fall of 2006. Mr. Riley has also been a freelance producer for ESPN, TSN, CBC, HD Net and Yes Network, and Thursday/Saturday night football for the NFL Network for 2006.
