Full bio
I am a lead strategic planner and client liaison responsible for the development of a federally-funded public health education campaign by the FDA. As an Account Director with a behavior change marketing agency, I spearhead strategy, brand identity, creative development, account planning, and campaign implementation for This Free Life, a $36MM national campaign to reach Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) young adults. This Free Life is a first of its kind national lifestyle brand dedicated at improving the lives of LGBT young adults by promoting a tobacco-free lifestyle. As an early member of the This Free Life team, I led development of the brand and marketing strategy before launch and supported development of key audience insights through formative research and early development of the campaign’s integrated digital strategies for web and social. In my role as Account Director, I provide leadership and strategic guidance to a team of several account management professionals as well as our growing team of event professionals and brand ambassadors including both national event strategists and local market managers working to implement the campaign’s experimental marketing tactics in 12 cities across the U.S. Additionally, along with my team, I oversee campaign subcontractors including a media buying agency, a PR and communications agency, and several Subject Matter Experts who consult on the brand’s creative and campaign strategy. I have more than 10 years of management experience in a variety of fields including nonprofits, political campaigns and private sector companies. Before completing my MBA at SDSU, I was named one of San Diego’s Top 15 Leaders Under 30. 2008. After joining Rescue in 2014, I moved to Los Angeles to lead the This Free Life campaign and oversee Rescue's LA satellite office.
