If you are an entrepreneur, why?

Build something new and tangible, feeling it's the best of yourself

My favorite startups:

Pebble, Dropbox, Tripadvisor, Uber

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

Frustration is not getting useful feeback about your product / service from prospects, not helping building a better one.

Rewards is when the very new idea you had time ago finds a customer with exactly the problem you thought about and willng to buy the product you designed for that.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make?

Rushing on the path, overlooking details that will catch you sooner or later.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

Don't start an endeavour without a week long team brainstorming defining the next 12 months and (at least) the next 36 months milestones.

Look for early feedback, but don't settle on those, find others again and again.

Clear team and shareholders rules, roles and responsibility from day 1.

Loves mountains (climbing, skiing, walking) and the sea (sailing, diving), so settling somehow in between in the Tuscany hills – likely it’s the wine.
