I started my company Stick Me Designs after dealing with Gestational Diabetes with my second son. When you deal with diabetes everyday, it means endless testing of your blood sugar and monitoring it several times a day. This also means that your blood glucose supplies must be with you also.  Most meters come with their very own black, depressing nylon bag that most people find bland and medical-looking and it screams 'hey look at me I'm sick'. 

So I decided to design a collection for myself full of color, life and personality after searching online to only find navy blue and black, and Stick Me Designs was born.  I started out getting feedback from members of the social community Tudiabetes, and the response was fantastic.  At that point I actually almost talked myself out of the idea, thinking it was too big for just me to take on alone, and I didn't have the start-up money. But my entrepreneurial spirit took over and I began thinking if I don't do this someone else will, so I forged full speed ahead. 

Now our designer glucose meter bags are admired by diabetics all around the world, and we're hoping to expand our offerings, designs and styles to try to fit many different personalities and lifestyles and dominate at least 25% of this enormous international market.
