Nihal ElRayess

Nihal is an EdTech evangelist who enjoys spending "downtime" encouraging entrepreneurs in the space and helping wherever she can. Her educational background is in Biomedical Communications (Medical Illustration) and she has spent over 12 years in the online space ranging from WSJ.com to Columbia Interactive e-learning seminars and most recently TFANet.org, a professional networking and resource-sharing platform for members of the Teach For America community.

Additionally, Nihal has worked closely with several startups including heading up product at 2008 TechCrunch50 finalist, Adgregate Markets, where she focused on both a self-serve digital goods marketplace and a transactional widget platform and was instrumental in collaborating on the TechCrunch50 launch. Nihal was a 1993 Teach For America corps member in Washington Heights, NY.
