The mobile Google Buzz site can be found at buzz.google.com (when accessed via a mobile phone browser) and lets users carry out all the essential actions one can do on the ordinary Google Buzz site. One can view the stream of buzz posts, post publicly or privately, comment or like a post, and more.
BlackBerry users get an added bonus: by enabling location in the browser settings, one can enter Nearby mode, which means Buzz will stream posts geo-tagged near the user.
Google is able to bring Buzz to more mobile users today because it is releasing an XHTML version of the site. Previously, buzz.google.com was only available to devices running Android 2.0+ and iPhone.
Google Buzz is the Mountain View company's latest effort to integrate social networking sharing and messaging directly into its Web-based email client, Gmail. Though the product definitely created a lot of noise when it first launched (especially due to a charade of privacy blunders), Buzz has been relatively quiet lately.
Earlier today, Google Buzz finally added a "Reshare" button to posts, so that in just two clicks, a user can, well, reshare a post he or she saw in the stream.
Buzz is now available in 37 languages and even more mobile devices, but that may not be enough to spark more interest in the social site, especially when another site is sucking up all the users (Facebook has over 400 million users now).
