ShearShare raised $2.3M; DataFleets and Hublio landed $4.5M; StreetShares secured $10M

ShearShare: ShearShare is a Dallas, Tex.-based marketplace service connecting stylists with open seats at hair salons. ShearShare has raised $2.3 million in seed funding from Precursor Ventures, Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, and Structure Capital, among others, long with a non-dilutive cash grant from Google for Startups Black Founders Fund. DataFleets: DataFleets, Palo Alto, Ca.-based data virtualization platform aims  to  access and analyze databases safely without the possibility of privacy breaches or abuse.  DataFleets has raised $4.5 million in seed funding. Backers include AME Cloud Ventures, Morado Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Peterson Ventures, Mark Cuban, former Goldman CFO and CIO Marty Chavez, Stanford-StartX fund, and several founders. Hubilo: Hubilo is a San Francisco-based virtual events platform. Hubilo has raised $4.5 million in seed funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from numerous individual investors. Read more  

Linktree: Linktree is a Melbourne, Australia-based developer of link-centric user profiles. Linktree raised $10.7 million in Series A funding co-led by Insight Partners and AirTree Ventures. Read more   

StreetShares: StreetShares is a Reston, Va.-based lending-as-a-service startup to banks, credit unions and non-financial organizations. StreetShares has raised $10 million in funding, including from Motley Fool Ventures and Ally Ventures. Read more
