Maven Clinic raised $110M; Beckley Psytech landed $80M; Carrot Fertility secured $75M; ClosedLoop.ai

Maven Clinic: Maven Clinic is a NY- based female founded digital health company which focused on women's and family health.  Maven Clinic announced $110 million series D funding round also was backed by a female investor, Deena Shakir, partner at Lux Capital, and got a boost from Orpah Winfrey as a new backer. The company attracted other high-profile investors in its series C round last year, including Reese Witherspoon, Natalie Portman, Mindy Kaling and 23andMe CEO Anne Wojcicki. Read more 

Cricket Health: Cricket Health is a San Francisco-based kidney care company that provides integrated nephrology and dialysis care for people with chronic kidney disease and end stage renal disease. Cricket Health has raised $83.5 million in Series B funding. Valtruis led the round, joined by Oak HC/FT, Cigna Ventures, K2 HealthVentures, and Blue Shield of California. Read more

Beckley Psytech: Beckley Psytech is an Oxford, England-based developer of psychedelic treatments for depression. Beckley Psytech has raised £58 million ($80 million) in Series B funding from Prime Movers Lab, Adage Capital Management, Palo Santo, Delphi VC, Leafy Tunnel, Negev Capital and Bicycle Day. Carrot Fertility: Carrot Fertility is a Menlo Park, Ca.-based fertility benefits provider for employers. Carrot Fertility has raised $75 million in Series C funding led by Tiger Global, with participation from OrbiMed, F-Prime, CRV, U.S. Venture Partners and Silicon Valley Bank. Read more

Cadence: Cadence is a L.A.-based remote patient monitoring startup that enables clinicians to provide personalized feedback via texts and video visits. Cadence has raised $41 million in funding from General Catalyst and Thrive Capital, with participation from Martin Ventures and Chelsea Clinton, among others. Read more  

BrainIQ: BrainIQ is a Bay Area-based company whose parent, Posit Science, was founded in 2002 and that makes a whole-brain magnetic field generator device to stimulate the damaged part of a brain following a stroke and promote self-repair. BrainIQ has raised $40 million in funding. Read more

ClosedLoop.ai: ClosedLoop.ai is an Austin, Tex.-based healthcare data science platform. ClosedLoop.ai has raised $34 million in Series B funding. Telstra Ventures led the round, joined by Breyer Capital, Greycroft Ventures, .406 Ventures and Healthfirst. Read more

DigiSure: DigiSure is a Burlingame, Ca.-based digital insurance startup that caters to mobility and sharing-economy companies. DigiSure has raised $13.1 million in what it calls pre-Series A funding. Morado Ventures led the round, joined by Xplorer Capital, Valor Equity Partners, Clocktower Technology Ventures, True North Cos and former Upwork CEO Fabio Rosati. Read more

Morado Ventures led the round, joined by Xplorer Capital, Valor Equity Partners, Clocktower Technology Ventures, True North Cos and former Upwork CEO Fabio Rosati. Read more  

Cardiomatics: Cardiomatics is a Poland-based health tech AI startup that has developed an electrocardiogram reading automation technology. Cardiomatics just announced $3.2 million in seed funding. The Central and Eastern European venture firm Kaya VC led the round, joined by Nina Capital, Nova Capital and Innovation Nest. Read more
