The ecommerce booming, email marketing is one of the most effective ways to connect with customers

Sendlane, a company that focuses email and SMS marketing automation for ecommerce merchants, announced this week that it is partnering with ClickBank, a global digital retailer and leading affiliate marketplace.

This partnership looks to provide ClickBank merchants an easy-to-use way to connect with customers through marketing campaigns using targetted information, while also working with affiliate partners to help promote products and services. For Sendlane clients, it means better tools to integrate affiliate marketing campaigns.

Jimmy Kim, CEO of Sendlane, notes, "We understand the pain points Clickbank vendors face every day, including the specific needs of direct-response marketers who have a hybrid business model that includes using affiliate marketing to increase CLTV."

With ecommerce continuing to be the go-to shopping method for many out there, both small online shops and those larger brands need to find the best ways to not only secure new sales and customers but make sure happy customers keep returning. Smart email marketing campaigns are one of the best ways to do that.

Affiliate marketing has maintained its relevance throughout the years, even if it isn't as in your face now. Through a partnership like this, it provides both ecommerce store owners and affiliate marketers a way to target customers using meaningful data, which hopefully means higher clickthrough rates and sales.

"Sendlane was a natural choice for us to partner with due to their best-in-class native integration and stellar support," said Kelly Householder, CEO of ClickBank. "Our entrepreneurs need the highest-quality tools and capabilities available, and Sendlane provides exactly that."

In the press release, it is noted that the integrations are now live and customers from both companies can start taking advantage of the new tools.
