Study shows Youper's tele-therapy chatbot reduced depression and anxiety within two weeks

Bambi Francisco Roizen interviews Dr. Jose Hamilton, M.D, CEO and founder of Youper.  Youper is a AI-powered teletherapy app with three million users. A recently-published study from Stanford University showed that Youper's app helped lower depression and anxiety in some cases as quick as two weeks. Hamilton started the app in 2016 as a way to give access to people who wait too long to see a psychiatrist. The number one reason people don't see psychiatrists, Hamilton said, is the cost. It can cost about $500-$600 an hour to see a psychiatrist.
