Read more...Today's entrepreneur is Amy Shecter, CEO of cosmetic dermatology startup Ever/Body, which provides treatments including microneedling, laser facials, photofacials, peels, botox, wrinkle relaxers, derma fillers, plasma injections, and plasma hair restoration, among others. On the technology side, the platform that provides customers with online booking and scheduling, medical records and progress tracking.
Founded in 2019, the company currently operates two in-person clinics, both in New York City; one in the Flatiron District, and the other in SoHo, with plans to open 20 locations over the next five years.
Ever/Body recently announced a $38 million Series B funding round led by Tiger Global Management, along with Addition, Fifth Wall, MetaProp, and Gaingels, and existing investors, including Declaration Partners, ACME Capital and Redesign Health, bringing the company’s total capital raised to date to $52 million.
Shecter is the former CEO of GLAMSQUAD, a technology-powered, consumer-focused company providing on-demand, at-home beauty services, as well as the former CEO of CorePower Yoga and President of C.Wonder.

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?
There are so many highs and lows in a start up. Some days you are on top of the world and other days you are wondering if you are going to make it. Staying focused, believing in your team, motivating your team to believe in the vision and executing with excellence. Winning is always rewarding and fun for everyone!!
What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?
Trying to do too much.
What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?
Stay focused on what counts, surround yourself with people who share your ethos as a human and an entrepreneur and be a perpetual student so you are always learning and growing.
