Here are some takeaways:

  • Truepill has three pillars to its business: telehealth, diagnostics and pharmacy fulfillment. These pillars power some 80% of healthcare experiences that can happen virtually.

  • Truepill spent the first two years building out its pharmacy fulfillment capabilities powering fulfillment for many popular direct-to-consumer healthcare companies like HIMs.

  • Competition: Truepill is pure B2B (at least today). It works to power the consumer experiences for its partners, which in 2021 will be more insurers. It does not focus on same-day delivery for medications. Its offerings are available everywhere across the 50 states.

  • How Truepill works with UnitedHealthcare on a COVID flu test for the 400k members at United who are above 65 years old. This program helps the payer lower its risk of having members hospitalized when they only have the flu.

  • Sid says the company projected more than $200 million in revenue. It is also closing in on 500 employees and is well-capitalized for the next two years of growth.
