CirrusMD raised $15M; Vue.ai landed a $17M; Atia closed $20M; FreightHub secured $30M

 

Editional: Editional is a blockchain infrastructure has set the stage for a new generation of digital ownership that better connects and empowers both creators and owners. Editional has raised $1.5 million in seed funding. Investors include ConsenSys Ventures, Digital Currency Group, and CoinFund. Read more Cointelegraph has more here.

TransitScreen: TransitScreen is a software platform for real-time transportation and city information. TransitScreen has raised $3 million in funding from TIMIA Capital. Read more

Confiant: Confiant protects digital publisher's reputation and revenue with anti-malware software that keeps them ahead of the bad guys. Confiant has raised $4.1 million in Series A funding led by River Bay Investments and Rubicon Venture Capital. Read more

PeopleGrove: PeopleGrove connects student and professional with the mentors, advisers and network needed to realize their full potential. PeopleGrove has raised $4.7 million in Series A funding. Reach Capital led the round and was joined by investors including Bisk Ventures, Collaborative Fund, GSV Acceleration, Launch Capital, Riverpark Ventures, and University Ventures. Read more

Dolly: Dolly is a customer service company offering delivery and services through mobile apps at an affordable price. Dolly has raised $7.5 million in new capital led by Unlock Venture Partners, with participation from earlier backers Maveron and Jeff Wilke, the CEO of Amazon Worldwide Consumer. The company has now raised more than $20 million altogether. Read more   

Intellimize: Intellimize automatically optimizes websites to drive revenue and customer acquisition using machine learning. Intellimize has raised $8 million in Series A funding. Amplify Partners led the round and was joined by Homebrew and Precursor Ventures. Read more   

Awair: Awair helps people to stay healthy and safe in all indoor environments. Awair has raised $10 million in Series B funding led by The Westly Group, with participation from Altos Ventures, Emerson Electric, iRobot and Nuovo Capital. Read more  

Confident Cannabis: Confident Cannabis is bringing transparency to legal cannabis through technology. Confident Cannabis has raised $12 million of Series A funding in a round led by Poseidon Asset Management and joined by earlier investors Bullpen Capital, Y Combinator, Base Ventures, and new investor FJLabs. Sense: Sense is the first communication engagement platform powering the next generation of great staffing firms. Sense has raised $13.5 million in Series B funding led GV, with participation from Accel. Read more

CirrusMD: CirrusMD gives patients instant access to providers via secure text messaging so your healthcare org can excel in a value-based environment. CirrusMD has raised $15 million in a Series B round of funding led by Drive Capital, Colorado Impact Fund and other prior investors. Read more

Vue.ai: Vue.ai is an end-to-end retail automation platform that is redesigning the future of fashion retail with Artificial Intelligence. Vue.ai has raised a $17 million Series B led by Falcon Edge Capital, with participation from Sequoia Capital India and Global Brain, a GP of KDDI Innovation Fund. Read more

Atia Vision: Atia Medical is a privately held medical device company formed by Shifamed LLC, a Silicon Valley based medical device incubator. Atia has raised $20 million in Series D funding. Cormorant Asset Management led the round, with participation from The Capital Partnership, AMED Ventures and Shangbay Capital. Read more

Indio Technologies: Indio Technologies simplifies the insurance application process for brokers and clients, making it fast and easy. Indio Technologies has raised $20 million in Series B funding led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from 8VC. Read more

FreightHub: FreightHub is a digital freight forwarding agency that provides real-time insights and delivering transparency to customers. FreightHub has raised $30 million in Series B financing. Rider Global led the round, along with Maersk Growth, the corporate venture arm of container shipping giant A.P. Moller-Maersk. Earlier investors Northzone, Global Founders Capital and Cherry Ventures also participated. Read more
