Pawlicy Advisor raised $1M; Arpeggio Bio closed $3.2M; Gentem landed $3.7M; Loliware secured $5.9M

Copilot: Copilot’s personal finance-tracking app invites users to load their financial data, then create custom categories for transactions and set budgets. Copilot has raised $250K in seed funding from undisclosed sources. Read more  

Pawlicy Advisor: Pawlicy Advisor is a pet insurance marketplace. Pawlicy Advisor has raised $1 million in seed funding led by Defy.  Read more 

Arpeggio Bio: Arpeggio Bio leverages its sequencing approach and machine learning to uncover insights into drug compounds' biological mechanism of action. Arpeggio Bio has raised $3.2 million seed funding from Khosla Ventures, FundersClub, Fifty Years, TechU, and YC. Read more

Gentem: Gentem focuses on independent medical practices. Gentem has raised $3.7 million led by Susa Ventures. Other participants in the round include Village Global, Vulcan Capital, Hustle Fund, 500 Fintech, Social Starts, and Great Oaks VC. Read more 

Spoke Phone: Spoke Phone is an internet-calling phone system. Spoke Phone has raised $4.5 million in Series A funding led by Marbruck Investments, with participation from Icehouse Ventures and K1W1. Read more 

Loliware: Loliware makes disposable goods made of kelp, including straws. Loliware has raised $5.9 million in  “super seed” funding, including from New York Ventures, Magic Hour, For Good VC, Geekdom Fund, CityRock and Closed Loop Partners, among others.  Read more 

Leap: Leap connect cloud-connected sources of load to participate in wholesale energy markets and earn revenue by helping to balance the grid. Leap just raised $8.2 million in Series A equity and debt funding. Union Square Ventures led the round in what the company says is USV's first investment in the energy sector. Read more
