U-Nest raised $2M; Demodesk landed $2.3M; Koan secured $3M; Flip Fit picks up $3.75M

U-Nest: U-Nest is a mobile app that helps parents save for their kids'​ education via tax-advantaged college savings plans. U-Nest has raised $2 million in seed funding from The Artemis Fund, Draper Dragon, Unlock Ventures, Vested Ventures, and Band of Angels. Read more

Vendr: Vendr is selling subscription-based software that helps businesses buy and manage enterprise SaaS. Vendr has raised a $2 million seed round. F-Prime Capital led the funding, joined by Sound Ventures, Joe Montana’s Liquid2 Ventures, Garage VC and angel investors, including Canva co-founder Cliff Obrecht. Read more

Demodesk: Demodesk’s meeting software features advanced screen sharing options and that doesn't need to downloaded. Demodesk has raised $2.3 million in seed funding. Backers include GFC, FundersClub, Y Combinator,  Kleiner Perkins and numerous angel investors. Read more 

Koan: Koan is a performance management platform that's looking to help teams achieve their objectives and stay engaged. Koan has raised $3 million in seed funding led by Uncork Capital and Crosslink.  Read more

Voca.ai: Voca.ai developed an AI-driven call center agent technology, has raised strategic funding from American Express Ventures that brings its total funding to $3.5 million. Read more

Flip Fit: Flip Fit is a social shopping platform. Flip Fit has raised $3.75 million in seed funding led by TLV Partners, with participation from Lool Ventures. Read more

Logixboard: Logixboard is a freight logistics startup. Logixboard has raised $4.2 million in seed funding led by Social Leverage.  Read more

Firedome: Firedome is a endpoint cybersecurity startup. Firedome has raised $10 million in Series A funding led by Two Sigma Ventures, with participation from World Trade Ventures and Silvertech Ventures. Read more

Raydiant: Raydiant is turning TVs into interactive digital signs. Raydiant has raised $7 million in new funding. 8VC led the round, joined by Atomic, Bloomberg Beta, Lerer Hippeau, SV Angel and Transmedia Capital. Read more

Winnie: Winnie is a childcare and preschool marketplace. Winnie has raised $9 million in Series A funding. Rethink Impact led the round,  joined by Impact America Fund, Unusual Ventures, Ludlow Ventures, Afore Capital, Day One Ventures, Kairos, and Slack's former chief product officer, April Underwood.
