Digi-Prex raised $5.5M; Plutoshift closedd $8M; Red Sift landedd $8.8M; VentriFlo picks up $10M

Digi-Prex: Digi-Prex is a chronic disease management platform that provides a holistic solution to assist in the care of patients with chronic diseases. Digi-Prex has $5.5 million from Khosla Ventures, Vedanta Capital, Y Combinator, Quiet Capital, and SV Angel. Justin Mateen,  a founder of Tinder, also joined the round. Read more 

Daisy Intelligence: Daisy Intelligence delivers A.I.-powered recommendations that help retailers and insurance companies make higher sales and profits every year. Daisy Intelligence has raised C$10 million ($7.5 million) in Series A funding led by Framework Venture Partners, with participation from Sonae IM. Read more

Plutoshift: Plutoshift is a trusted performance monitoring solution for industrial water processes. Plutoshift has raised $8 million in Series A funding from Fall Line Capital and Unshackled Ventures.  Read more

Red Sift: Red Sift is a data-driven cybersecurity business that uses machine learning to help organizations of all sizes and sectors address day-to-day security challenges. Red Sift has raised $8.8 million in funding led by MMC Ventures, with participation from In-Q-Tel and earlier investors White Star Capital and Oxford Capital. Read more

VentriFlo: The VentriFlo True Pulse Pump is a novel, truly pulsatile blood pumping system designed to achieve superior outcomes, reduce costs and improve safety for pediatric & adult patients who require cardiopulmonary support during surgery or in the ICU. VentriFlo has raised $10 million in Series A funding led by philanthropists Jim and Pat Poitras and other investors. Read more

Lookiero: Lookiero is a personalised online shopping service for women. Lookiero  has closed a $19 million funding round led by MMC Ventures, with participation from earlier backer All Iron Ventures and new investors Bonsai Partners, 10x and Santander Smart. Read more

AvantStay: AvantStay is technology-fist hospitality startup focused on short-term rental properties tailored for group getaways. AvantStay has raised $20 million in Series A funding. 3L Capital led the round, joined by Bullpen Capital, Convivialite Ventures, F-Prime Capital, Zeno Ventures and Olympic snowboarder Shaun White. Built Robotics: Built Robotics is an industrial automation company that designs to make autonomous construction equipment. Built Robotics has raised $33 million in Series B funding from Next47, Founders Fund, and NEA. Read more

Kitchen United: Kitchen United provides restaurant operators a turnkey way to accelerate growth and reach the off-premise diner. Kitchen United has raised $40 million in Series B funding co-led by RXR Reality and earlier backer GV with participation from Fidelity Investments Canada, DivcoWest, and G Squared. Read more
